In order to help enterprises firmly hold the "snatched" orders in their hands, Yantai Customs has continuously strengthened supervision and optimization services to ensure smooth international trade and export of aquatic products under its jurisdiction.
On March 3, the cod processing workshop of Yantai Haihe Food Co., Ltd. was busy, with smooth links and efficient operation of equipment.
Under the skillful and neat operation of the workers in white work clothes, raw cod were quickly decapitated, dirty and stabbed, and cut, seasoned and packaged. After passing the on-site inspection of Yantai Customs, this batch of 288 tons of frozen aquatic products will be shipped to Japan.
"Since this year, we have" grabbed "more than 1000 tons of new orders abroad. Now our four workshops are running at high speed at the same time, and more than 700 workers are arranged to work overtime. The production plan has been arranged to the end of March." Zhang Shumin, the director of the company's quality control department, said that for enterprises, time is profit, and efficiency is benefit. After the production of products is completed, the customs will make an appointment for inspection and issue certificates quickly, which also saves time for enterprises, It has effectively guaranteed the timely delivery of new orders and realized a win-win situation of profit and benefit.
In order to help enterprises firmly hold the "snatched" orders in their hands, Yantai Customs has continuously strengthened supervision and optimization services to ensure smooth international trade and export of aquatic products under its jurisdiction.
"In view of the high timeliness requirements for customs clearance of aquatic products, we provide refined guidance to enterprises at such nodes as facilitating customs clearance and improving operational efficiency, and guide enterprises to make full use of the 'Internet plus+Customs' to achieve paperless customs clearance. For goods that need to be spot checked, on the basis of passing the inspection, we will issue inspection and quarantine certificates and electronic accounts at the first time to effectively improve the efficiency of enterprise customs clearance." Lv Xianguo, the head of the second inspection section of Yantai Customs Office in Zhifu, introduced that in view of the development of the enterprise, the customs continued to improve the communication and coordination mechanism between the customs and the enterprise, actively carried out special research and analysis, and fully assisted the enterprise to stay strong and stabilize the order.
It is understood that with the recovery of international trade demand and the increase of orders, this company has invested in and expanded new plants, introduced international advanced technology and equipment, added 4 production lines, and carried out the deep processing of cod, mackerel and other products in combination with the characteristics of major export markets such as Europe and the United States, laying a foundation for scrambling for orders and ensuring delivery.
"The company invested 150 million yuan in the new plant. During the workshop construction process, from the planning of the new production line to the product production process, the customs has provided us with accurate technical services and guidance." Zhang Shumin said that the new production equipment of the company is now fully open. Since this year, nearly 600 tons of frozen cod, bamboo pod fish, saury fish and other products have been exported. According to the current order situation, the export volume of international trade is expected to reach 6500 tons in 2023.
Yantai is located in the north of Jiaodong Peninsula, with convenient transportation. There are 135 aquatic products processing and exporting enterprises under the jurisdiction of Yantai Customs, with an annual export volume of about 200000 tons, of which about 70% are exported in the form of processing trade.
Yantai Longxiang Food Co., Ltd. is an aquatic product production and export enterprise mainly engaged in processing trade. It exports frozen fish fillet to the international trade in the Japanese market all year round. "For most of our aquatic products processing enterprises, we mainly import raw materials from abroad through processing trade, and then export them after the processes of opening, bone-removing, sectioning, and baking," said Wang Huaixing, the director of the company's trade department.
In order to help enterprises to stabilize the international market, Yantai Customs implemented the online supervision mode of processing trade for aquatic products processing enterprises according to the actual situation, which simplified the customs clearance procedures of enterprises handling multiple manuals under the traditional mode and effectively reduced the operating costs of enterprises.
"The original manual used is based on the 'contract', and each contract is signed with one manual. The company needs to handle more than 20 manuals a year." Wang Huaixing said that under the online supervision mode of processing trade, the company only needs to handle one electronic account book as the unit of the 'enterprise', which can be recycled, not only reducing procedures and improving business flexibility, but also saving a lot of costs for the enterprise.
In addition, with the continuous release of the dividend of the RCEP policy, the market competitiveness of China's export aquatic products has been continuously strengthened. In order to facilitate the smooth export of enterprise products to RCEP countries, Yantai Customs took the initiative to investigate and visit enterprises, and carried out policy guidance in various forms, such as sending policies to the door, online propaganda, etc., to guide enterprises to flexibly use the raw materials of regional member countries to carry out deep processing, give full play to comparative advantages, deeply integrate the industrial chain, and ensure that enterprises can enjoy the policy dividend to the maximum extent.
In February this year, Yantai Customs has supervised and released 550 batches of exported aquatic products, 40500 tons, up 86.5% and 84.1% year on year respectively.
