Recently, a batch of fresh carrots weighing 24 tons produced in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, passed the inspection of Yuxi Customs under Kunming Customs and were exported by sea, further expanding the international trade market for "Yuncai" exports.

"We fully utilize the advantages of full chain safety supervision to ensure the quality and safety of exported fresh vegetables through quality and safety management in various aspects such as raw material cultivation, acceptance, production processing, factory inspection, and export supervision. At the same time, based on the results of risk monitoring, we conduct hierarchical and classified management in combination with the daily credit situation of enterprises, and optimize the export vegetable supervision process for enterprises with good credit." Liang Wei, the first level chief staff member of Kunming Customs International Trade Import and Export Food Safety Department, introduced.

"Through the assistance and guidance of the customs, we have learned and mastered the food safety standards of the countries of export destination in international trade, improved vegetable planting techniques, and made the use of pesticides and fertilizers more reasonable and standardized. The quality of exported vegetables has been guaranteed, and our exports have more confidence," Sun Li said.

According to statistics, in the first two months of this year, the international trade export volume of vegetables under the supervision of Kunming Customs reached 116300 tons, an increase of 25.78% year-on-year.
