Recently, the seminar on international trade import and export fruit cooperation in the new land sea channel was held in Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park, Shapingba District, Chongqing. The theme of the conference is "Jointly building a new land sea channel to smooth internal and external circulation". More than 70 government units, fruit enterprises, industry associations, and financial institutions from multiple provinces, regions, and cities such as Chongqing, Beijing, Guangdong, Shaanxi, and Henan participated in the conference.

At the meeting, China Fruit Circulation Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Luhai New Channel Operation Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly build a "Land Sea New Channel Fruit International Trade Import and Export Industry Chain Supply Chain Service Platform" integrating "logistics+trade+industry+finance", to assist enterprises in participating in domestic and foreign cross regional trade cooperation, promote quality and efficiency improvement and high-quality growth of the fruit international trade industry chain, and support the full integration of the fruit industry into the channel industry cluster, Assist the Chongqing Waterless Port along the new land sea channel to build a fruit distribution center radiating the surrounding areas, serving and promoting regional economic development along the new land sea channel.

During the period, participants provided answers and suggestions on how to accelerate the construction of the new land sea channel, how to rely on the new land sea channel to solve the pain points and difficulties in fruit international trade, and how to optimize the cooperation between the channel and fruit international trade import and export enterprises.

Hu Yi, member of the Standing Committee of the Shapingba District Committee and Deputy District Chief, said that Shapingba District will strive to create a trade logistics service center facing ASEAN by cultivating market entities, improving the functions of hub ports, and improving the level of trade facilitation. It will build six types of distribution centers including international trade import and export fruits, strengthen the radiation and driving role of the supply chain in the industrial chain in the western region, and will continue to optimize the business environment in the future, Put the vision of the seminar into practice and the original intention of channel construction, joint discussion, construction and sharing.

Xiao Wenjun, Deputy Director of Chongqing Port Logistics Office, emphasized that at present, the new land and sea channel in the west has become an important logistics and trade channel connecting China's inland with ASEAN, and has been included in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and become a national strategy. Chongqing will increase its capacity expansion and smooth operation, focus on cross regional coordination and operation organization, promote the efficient connection of the new land and sea corridor in the west with China Europe Express and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway, strengthen the connection of multiple transportation modes such as railway, public transportation, water and air transportation, and constantly form a cost reduction and efficiency increase throughout the industry. It is willing to work with industry friends to expand the channel economy, radiate the west, serve the country, link ASEAN, and integrate into the world.

How to find future development opportunities relying on the new land sea channel? Wang Yupei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Luhai New Channel Operation Co., Ltd., stated that by building a supply chain service platform, procurement, transportation, and distribution costs will be reduced; Create a unified brand through land and sea premium products, establish selection rules, unify channels, and establish China's quality standards and brands; Improve around digitalization, reshape processes, restructure structures, and rebuild rules and standards using digital means, carry out professional services such as logistics, trade, industry, finance, and data, improve the comprehensive service capabilities of the supply chain, and promote cost reduction and efficiency increase.

Fruit is the third largest industry in China's agricultural planting industry. Cong Shan, Executive Vice President of the China Fruit Circulation Association, pointed out that China's fruit consumption has shown a trend of multi-level, diversification, and branding. The new formats and models of China's fruit circulation have developed rapidly, presenting a development trend of omnichannel, multi-scenario, multi-format, online and offline organic integration, and warehouse store integration.

"In the future, fruit trade must develop towards digitalization, with full chain management and control through digitalization to ensure fruit quality." Deng Hongjiu, Chairman of Chongqing Hongjiu Fruit Co., Ltd., said that it is necessary to fully utilize the development of the fruit industry internet, which can form a total sales platform, form branches in each city, and rely on digital systems and industrial internet tools to expand the market.

It is reported that Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park plans to hold the Land Sea New Channel International Cooperation Forum and ASEAN Fruit Expo this year, with the linkage of upstream and downstream entities in the industrial chain, the construction of imported fruit distribution centers in the central and western regions as its important theme, and carry out many activities such as keynote forums, major contract signing, and commodity exhibitions. At the same time, in order to promote local customs clearance of imported fruits, the park is actively applying for designated supervision sites for imported fruits, continuously expanding port functions, and making greater breakthroughs in improving the level of the hub.
