Based on this, Bob Wang, the head of TWT Supply China with 8 years of experience in importing durian, said, "If everything goes smoothly, this year I will import over 3000 containers of durian, about 60000 tons, to meet market demand. This is three times the amount I imported from Thailand. Last year, China imported over 820000 tons of durian. I am confident that the total import volume of durian this year will exceed 900000 tons. I am still ordering as many as possible

During an interview with reporters, multiple durian export enterprises and representatives from the Vietnam Vegetable and Fruit Association unanimously believed that everything was going smoothly for durian exports, and Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation reported.

Deng Fuyuan, secretary-general of Vietnam Vegetable and Fruit Association, said that the Chinese customs had just issued a new Growing region code and packaging facility code for Durian in Vietnam. These are all very favorable factors for Vietnamese durian to increase its influence in China. With the current growth momentum and the expansion of favorable conditions, Vietnam's durian is fully capable of reaching the target of 1 billion US dollars in the first year of opening up the durian market in China, as reported by Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation.

On the other hand, although fresh coconut has not yet obtained a formal export license to China, the functional authorities of the two countries are still actively negotiating. However, fresh coconut and coconut processed products, as well as coconut handicrafts, have also generated nearly $1 billion in revenue from exports, as reported by Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation.

According to Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation, the export value of coconut and its products reached over 900 million US dollars in 2022. The export potential of coconut and its products is enormous, and the coconut industry is fully capable of joining a $1 billion export club in the near future.
