According to the press office of the Primorsky Krai and Sakhalin sub-bureaus of the Russian Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Service, China has supplied more than 44,000 tons of fruits and vegetables to Primorsky Krai since the beginning of this year. The supply volume increased by more than 900 tons from the previous month.

The announcement stated: "From the beginning of 2021 to the present, Primorsky Territory has imported 44,734.1 tons of fruit and vegetable products from China. Among them, the fruit and vegetable products imported from China in April increased by 915.5 tons compared with March."
The announcement pointed out that during the week of May 3-9, the Russian Primorye Region imported 4,560.6 tons of fruits and vegetables from China, an increase of 300.1 tons over the same period in 2020.
