1,000 kilograms of lychees from Lingshan, Qinzhou, Guangxi, were shipped to Nanning on May 30 and then shipped to Canada. It is reported that this is the first export of litchi from Lingshan in Guangxi this year, laying a good foundation for the export of litchi from Lingshan this year.

It is understood that on May 29, these lychees were picked from the lychee planting base of Guangxi Lingshan Millennium Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.-Millennium Phoenix Fruit Farm, passed inspection by customs staff, and packaged and refrigerated.

According to the Lingshan County Agriculture and Rural Bureau, there is still a second batch of exported lychees that will be sent to Malaysia, Singapore and Toronto, Canada on June 3.

Lingshan County, Qinzhou, is known as the "Hometown of Lychee in China". It has a history of lychee cultivation for more than 2,000 years, and the oldest lychee tree in existence is more than 1,500 years old. At present, the litchi cultivation area in Qinzhou city is about 1.1 million mu, and 82 litchi standard orchards have been created. It is estimated that Qinzhou's litchi production will be 420,000 tons this year, an increase of 27.78% compared to last year, making it the largest litchi production base in Guangxi and China's second largest litchi production base.

At present, Qinzhou City has more than 60 fine varieties such as "Lingshan Fragrant Li", "Guiwei", "Qinzhou Red Li", "Guifei Red", "Guinuo", "Rose Fragrant Honey" and "Strawberry Li", etc., from late April to July every year Litchi was listed in the first half of the year. The Qinzhou Municipal Government is working hard to build a variety of production and marketing platforms to ensure high yields and smooth sales of litchi in the new year, increase farmers' income, and help rural revitalization.
