Uruguay's meat exports increased by 30%, and China accounted for more than half of its export m

According to the Uruguay "Observer" report on June 22, as of June 12, Uruguay's meat exports have increased significantly, reaching 1.031 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of about 30% over the 792 million U.S. dollars in the same period last year, and the export volume reached 270,258 tons, compared with last year. The 207,163 tons in the same period increased by 30.4%.

China, the North American Free Trade Agreement and the European Union are the main export destinations of black meat, accounting for 54.06%, 15.65% and 13.38% of the total exports respectively, an increase of 53.5%, 12.2% and 11.2% respectively compared with the same period last year. In terms of beef, China is Uzbekistan’s largest export market, reaching 122,702 tons, accounting for 59% of total beef exports, a year-on-year increase of 40.4%; followed by the North American Free Trade Agreement (accounting for 19%, 39,181 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 15.7%) and The European Union (accounting for 9%, reaching 17,968 tons, an increase of 13% year-on-year).
