In the first half of the year, various tasks in the agricultural and rural areas of Yunnan Province progressed smoothly, and various indicators reached progress on schedule. The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery was 220.665 billion yuan, an increase of 11% year-on-year, and an average increase of 6.3% in two years. The added value of the primary industry was 114.648 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year and an average growth rate of 5.3% in two years. Farmers' income continues to maintain rapid growth. Yunnan Province is actively expanding the income channels of farmers. The development of characteristic industries and the transfer of rural labor force employment have contributed greatly to the increase of farmers' income. In the first half of the year, the income of rural residents increased by about 14% year-on-year, and the growth rate was higher than the national average. Grain production increased steadily. The sown area of summer grains was 14.565 million mu, and the output was 2.618 million tons, an increase of 4.9% year-on-year. The summer grains had another bumper harvest. The sown area of autumn grain is 45.037 million mu. The weather conditions are generally favorable and a good harvest is expected. The production capacity of live pigs continued to recover, and various policies and measures to stabilize the production and supply of live pigs took effect. The stock of live pigs was 32,133,500, an increase of 31.4%; the slaughter of live pigs was 19,398,500, an increase of 26.9%. The output of pork, beef, mutton, and poultry was 2,192,900 tons, a year-on-year increase of 20.8%, and the ability to ensure supply continued to increase.

Yunnan Province has further promoted the creation of "one county, one industry" model counties. It has completed the elimination and replenishment of 20 model counties in 2021, and initiated the creation of 20 new model counties. Solidly promote rural construction actions.
