Chinese agricultural exports to Vietnam surge

Vietnam’s "VietnamNet" reported on September 13 that in the first eight months of 2021, Vietnam’s imports of various agricultural products reached US$28.8 billion, an increase of 44% over the same period in 2020. As the third largest supplier of imported agricultural products to Vietnam, agricultural products imported from China accounted for 7.3% of Vietnam's total agricultural imports. In the first eight months, Vietnam’s imports of agricultural products from China amounted to US$2.1 billion, an increase of 50.3% in the same period last year, of which US$236 million was imported from China’s fruits and vegetables, US$103 million in aquatic products, US$131 million in rubber, and US$681 million in wood and wood products. , Pesticides US$233 million, various fertilizers US$340 million, and animal feed US$133 million.
