There have been no reports of major trading partner countries’ concerns about the safety of Thai chicken exports. However, after China raised the inspection standards for imported chicken meat, Thailand's chicken meat exports to China slowed down. At present, 8 of the 22 chicken processing plants in the country are dedicated to the Chinese market. The Animal Husbandry Department has formulated a response plan for the three-level epidemic prevention and safety measures adopted by the Chinese side to ensure that all chicken exported to China is safe and free of infection.
