Russia's soybean exports to China more than doubled in October

Russian Satellite News Agency, Moscow, November 22. Analysts from OleoScope, a Russian information analysis agency, said that in October, Russia’s soybean exports to China increased by 227%.


u3000u3000According to the agency's data, the increase in soybean supply to China prompted a substantial increase in Russian oil crop exports in October. Compared with September, Russian seed exports increased by 132%, from 75,000 tons to 174,000 tons.


u3000u3000 The total export volume of Russian soybeans in October was 44,000 tons (twice the export volume in September), of which 74% was shipped to China.


u3000u3000 According to the APK-Inform news agency at the end of October, China accounted for 78% of Russia’s soybean exports in the past agricultural year. Russia exported 1.08 million tons of soybeans to China, up 38% year-on-year.
