In order to accelerate Xiuyu Port’s efforts to create a designated supervision site for imported meat and fruits and a Haisi aquatic product distribution center, on the afternoon of January 27, Xiuyu District invited Putian Customs Commissioner Li Chaoxing, Deputy Commissioner Xiao Tiesheng and his party as well as Putian Port Group Party Committee members , Union Chairman Yu Renyu went to Xiuyu to discuss the establishment of work. Zheng Songqing, deputy secretary of the district party committee and head of the district, presided over the symposium, and district leaders Liu Jitang, Wang Lang, and Gu Bin participated.

At the meeting, all parties conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on project establishment, evaluation, and acceptance. Li Chaoxing introduced the functional positioning, policy basis and implementation path, and will set up a special class to promote this work; Yu Renyu said that the Port Group will make every effort to create based on the existing resources.

Zheng Songqing pointed out that Xiuyu will build on the advantages of the port, develop the industry near the port, and make every effort to promote the integrated development of the port industry and the city. He emphasized that it is necessary to work together and implement it step by step, set up a leading group for project promotion, and make every effort to promote the project in accordance with the idea of "simultaneous development of project design and approval procedures, and simultaneous declaration of three categories of products including meat, chilled aquatic products and fruits". In the early stage, clarify the time node and list the timetable, and strive to complete the construction of the designated supervision site by the end of September.
