When Lukashenko attended the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission by video, he said that the Eurasian Economic Union should urgently restructure the logistics system, promote the "Eurasian agricultural express" project, and ensure the unimpeded railway transportation of agricultural products.
Lukashenko said that in the face of geopolitical tensions and Western sanctions, all parties should unite and take unified action. He said that the Eurasian Economic Union is in an active position in ensuring food security, but considering the strong global demand for agricultural products, all parties need to closely coordinate to prevent commodity shortages.
The Eurasian Economic Union was established in 2015. Its member countries include Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. The Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission is the highest authority of the Eurasian Economic Union.
