Citing data from the Ghana Export Promotion Center on July 19, in 2021, Ghana's total mango exports will reach US$64.6 million, a year-on-year increase of 28%, ranking eleventh in the world. The United Kingdom is the largest importer of Ghana mangoes, followed by Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium, which account for 91.4% of Ghana's total mango exports in 2021.
According to the report, due to the high import tariffs imposed by China on mangoes, the export of Ghanaian mangoes to China has been restricted. However, in 2021, China's total mango imports will reach 770 million US dollars, which is still an important potential target for Ghanaian mango exports in the future.
