The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently announced the list of high-quality development bases for agricultural international trade in 2022. A total of 116 companies from across the country were selected, including 7 from Fujian Province.

They are Zhangzhou Chenzi Trading Co., Ltd., Fujian Yuehai Seafood Co., Ltd., Fujian Tianma Technology Group Co., Ltd., Fujian Mingxing Food Refrigeration Co., Ltd., Xianzhi Technology (Fujian) Co., Ltd., and Pinghe County Sanlv Fruits and Vegetables Co., Ltd., Fujian Minwei Industrial Co., Ltd.

The construction of a high-quality development base for agricultural international trade aims to cultivate and build the backbone of agricultural foreign trade with high industrial agglomeration, high production standards, high export added value, high brand recognition, and high comprehensive service level. According to the plan, during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, a total of about 500 international trade bases will be built across the country, and the annual export value of each type of product in the identified base will account for more than 50% of the country's total annual export value of such products.

In May 2021, my country launched the construction of high-quality development bases for agricultural international trade, and identified the first batch of 115 bases that year. Among them, five enterprises from our province, including Ningde Jinsheng Aquatic Products Co., Ltd., Fujian Shengnong Development Co., Ltd., Fuzhou Rixing Aquatic Food Co., Ltd., Fujian Yongchun Jufu Fruit Co., Ltd., and Fujian Sanyou Food Co., Ltd., were selected.

The high-quality development bases of agricultural international trade include four types: production, processing, trade and service trade. Among them, the average annual export value of production, processing and trade bases from 2019 to 2021 should in principle reach more than 5 million US dollars; service trade bases should have the business of developing or providing agricultural production services overseas. In principle The average annual operating income in the past three years shall not be less than 100 million yuan or the export value of agricultural services (or the turnover of overseas agricultural services) shall not be less than 1 million US dollars.
