The trade surplus of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products reached 7.82 billion US dollars, up 47.8%. Therefore, the export volume of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products in November 2022 has exceeded 48.6 billion US dollars in 2021, a new record.

According to customs data, in November 2022, the export volume of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products exceeded 4.27 billion US dollars, down 4.8% from November 2021 and 0.2% from October 2022. Among them, the export volume of major agricultural products reached 2.13 billion US dollars, up 10.3% year on year; The export volume of main forest products reached nearly 1.2 billion US dollars, down 15.2%; The export of aquatic products reached US $750 million, down 17.5%, and the export of livestock reached US $1.7 million, down 13.5%.

According to customs data, in the first 11 months of 2022, the cumulative export volume of major agricultural products reached 20.73 billion US dollars, up 6.6% year on year; The export volume of main forest products reached 5.59 billion US dollars, up 8.2%; The export of aquatic products reached US $10.14 billion, up 27%; The export of animal husbandry reached 361.4 million US dollars, down 8.4%; Production input cost exceeded 2.2 billion US dollars, up 38.1%.

Agricultural products with an export value of more than US $2 billion include coffee, rubber, rice, fruits and vegetables, cashew nuts, shrimp, fish and wood products.

In the first November of 2022, the cumulative export volume of major agricultural products reached 20.73 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 6.6%; The export volume of main forest products reached 5.59 billion US dollars, up 8.2%; The export of aquatic products reached US $10.14 billion, up 27%; The export of animal husbandry reached 361.4 million US dollars, down 8.4%; Production input cost exceeded 2.2 billion US dollars, up 38.1%.

Among them, the export volume of various commodities was higher than that of the same period last year: the export volume of coffee exceeded 3.5 billion dollars (up 31.5%), rubber exceeded 2.9 billion dollars (up 3%), rice exceeded 3.2 billion dollars (up 6.9%), pepper exceeded 895 million dollars (up 3.2%), cassava and cassava products exceeded 1.2 billion dollars (up 16.4%), fish exceeded 2.2 billion dollars (up nearly 62%), shrimp exceeded 4.1 billion dollars (up 14.6%), Wood and wood products reached 14.6 billion US dollars (up 9%).

According to customs data, in terms of export market, Asian market accounted for 44.7%, America 27.4%, Europe 11.3%, Oceania 1.7% and Africa 1.7%.

According to customs data, the United States continues to be Vietnam's largest export market, with an export volume of US $12.3 billion, accounting for 25% of the market share. China ranked second with an export volume of about 9.3 billion US dollars, accounting for 18.9% of the market share; The third is Japan, with an export volume of 3.9 billion US dollars, accounting for 7.9%.

According to the information of Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, China has not completely abandoned the "zero epidemic" policy. China's RMB and Thai baht have depreciated against the Vietnamese dong and the US dollar, so China tends to import more Thai products.

Fortunately, in the near future, fresh pomelo has become the seventh fruit approved to be imported into the US market in Vietnam after mango, longan, lychee, pitaya, rambutan and star apple.

According to customs data, the United States continues to be Vietnam's largest export market, with an export volume of US $12.3 billion, accounting for 25% of the market share. China ranked second with an export volume of about 9.3 billion US dollars, accounting for 18.9% of the market share; The third is Japan, with an export volume of 3.9 billion US dollars, accounting for 7.9%.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Agricultural Development said that it would continue to guide, organize and implement the durian export agreement to China, and strive to meet China's temporary requirements for passionfruit and the United States' requirements for pomelo.

The Ministry accelerated the negotiation and signing procedures on the technical content of the protocol on plant quarantine requirements for pitaya, longan, lychee, rambutan and mango exported to China, and jointly carried out weekly online inspection of banana, durian and other products with the General Administration of Customs of China; Negotiate the removal of technical and trade barriers in Japan, South Korea, Myanmar, Australia, New Zealand and other markets, and promote the positive trade export of these potential markets.

Relevant Vietnamese units have cooperated with Japanese plant quarantine inspectors to inspect Vietnamese processing plants of pitaya, mango and longan to promote the export of these products.

In terms of imports, Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that the import of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first November of this year was expected to exceed 41.22 billion US dollars, up 6.9% year on year. Among them, the import of major agricultural products exceeded 25.21 billion US dollars, up 3.9%; The import of aquatic products reached US $2.5 billion, up 39.7%; The import of major forest products reached 2.89 billion US dollars, up 4%; The import volume of livestock industry reached US $3 billion, down 3.2%.
