According to customs data, in November 2022, Vietnam exported 128403 tons of coffee, with an export volume of 304 million US dollars. Compared with October 2022, the export volume and price increased by 60% and 47% respectively.
According to customs data, by the first 11 months of 2022, Vietnam had exported 1.57 million tons of coffee, with an export volume of 3.62 billion US dollars, and the export volume and price increased by 13% and 34% respectively.
As for price, the data of the Ministry of Industry and Trade shows that in November 2022, the average export price of Vietnamese coffee reached 2371 US dollars/ton, down 8.5% month-on-month. According to customs data, in the first 11 months of 2022, the average export price of Vietnamese coffee reached 2297 US dollars/ton, down 3.1% from the same period in 2021.
From the perspective of the market, customs data show that in the first 11 months of 2022, Germany was Vietnam's largest coffee export market, with an export value of 412 million US dollars, followed by Italy with an export value of 275 million US dollars and the United States with an export value of 262 million US dollars.
Feng Dejin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, said at the 2022 Vietnam International Coffee Industry Conference held in mid-December that the coffee export volume in the past 11 months was the highest level in the past decade. It is estimated that by the end of 2022, Vietnam's coffee exports will reach US $39 billion to US $40 billion.
