According to Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation, on March 6, Hussein Haider, Consul General of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai, said that Pakistan has rich raw leather, synthetic leather materials, machinery and other related products. He hoped that Chinese entrepreneurs would understand the development potential of Pakistan's leather industry and invest in Pakistan's shoe leather industry.

This is Haider's speech at the video seminar of the shoe industry organized by the Wenzhou Council for the Promotion of International Trade (WCPIT). Hussein Haider believed that the seminar provided a good opportunity for the exchange between China and Pakistan in the shoemaking industry. He encouraged Wenzhou export-oriented enterprises to invest in Pakistan and promoted in-depth and effective cooperation between China and Pakistan.

Ahmed Fawad Farouk, Secretary-General of Pakistan Shoes Manufacturers Association, introduced high-quality leather products produced in Pakistan. Farouk said that the Pakistani government is guiding and supporting the development of the leather industry by eliminating import tariffs, reducing import restrictions, encouraging the implementation of automation and other policies.

On behalf of the Chinese side, Zhu Qianji, Vice President of Wenzhou Municipal Commission for the Promotion of International Trade, said that the seminar provided a new platform and new opportunities for the development of the leather industry and further widened the overseas trade channels of Wenzhou shoe industry. We are willing to cooperate with the Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai to build a bridge between Pakistan and Wenzhou enterprises.

According to the Huacheng Import and Export Data Observation Report, Wenzhou Shoes and Leather Industry Association said that Wenzhou is in a critical period of transformation from China's shoe capital to the world's shoe capital. This seminar will add new impetus to the development of Wenzhou footwear industry to the world.

During the seminar, enterprise representatives introduced the innovation of Wenzhou shoe and leather industry in accelerating the industrial chain and supply chain. A number of well-known enterprises at home and abroad have emerged in Wenzhou, gradually forming a development pattern of regional brand effect group and complete industrial chain. Wenzhou Shoes and Leather Industry Association said: "In the future, with the support of big data and other digital technologies, the shoe industry will achieve rapid development and iterative upgrading.

Finally, the two sides also conducted in-depth discussions on the reduction of intermediate links in the import of leather materials from Pakistan and the establishment of a cooperation platform.
