The export of mechanical and electrical products and confidential labor products has maintained stable growth, and the export of the "new three types" has grown rapidly. According to customs data, from January to April, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Zhejiang Province reached 525.61 billion yuan, an increase of 11.8%, accounting for 45.5% of the total export value of the province, driving a growth of 5.3 percentage points in the province's exports. Among them, the export of solar cells reached 35.74 billion yuan, an increase of 32.2%, the export of electric vehicles reached 10.89 billion yuan, an increase of 91.7%, and the export of lithium batteries reached 7.21 billion yuan, an increase of 81.3%. The export of labor-intensive products reached 338.92 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7%, accounting for 29.4%. Among them, the export of luggage increased significantly by 56.9%, while the export of shoes, boots, and toys increased by 15.6% and 16.2%, respectively.

The import of resource goods has grown rapidly. According to customs data, from January to April, Zhejiang Province imported 69.86 billion yuan of energy products such as crude oil, coal, and natural gas, an increase of 14.5%, accounting for 17.4% of the total import value of the province. During the same period, the import of consumer goods reached 43.01 billion yuan, an increase of 24.4%, accounting for 10.7%. Among them, the import of beauty, cosmetics, and toiletries reached 5.17 billion yuan, an increase of 1.2%, the import of edible oil reached 3.2 billion yuan, an increase of 1.8 times, and the import of automobiles reached 2.69 billion yuan, an increase of 68.9%; The import of agricultural products reached 33.34 billion yuan, an increase of 34.3%, including 4.91 billion yuan for dry and fresh fruits and nuts, an increase of 35.0%, and 4.22 billion yuan for edible aquatic products, an increase of 31.8%.

The number of market entities continues to increase. According to customs data, from January to April, the number of foreign trade enterprises with import and export performance in the province reached 88000, an increase of 7.1%. Among them, the import and export of private enterprises reached 1.24 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.7%, accounting for 80.0% of the total foreign trade value of the province, driving the import and export growth of the province by 9.7 percentage points. During the same period, foreign-invested enterprises imported and exported 199.34 billion yuan, while state-owned enterprises imported and exported 110.36 billion yuan, accounting for 12.8% and 7.1% of the province's total foreign trade value, respectively.

Double digit growth in market procurement exports. According to customs data, from January to April, Zhejiang's market procurement exports amounted to 149.86 billion yuan, an increase of 20.4%, 10.6 percentage points higher than the province's export growth rate, driving the province's export growth by 2.4 percentage points. During the same period, import and export through general trade methods reached 1.23 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.3%, accounting for 79.2% of the total import and export value of the province, driving a 5.9 percentage point increase in the province's import and export.
