In the early stage, with the repeated epidemics abroad, the arrival time of raw hides from the Americas and other countries was extended by 2-3 times, and the cycle was about 60 days, which had an impact on the leather industry in Zibo City. After discovering this problem during the investigation, Zibo Customs took the initiative to preach the customs bonded warehouse policy to enterprises, and actively made suggestions for enterprises to stabilize the supply of goods, so as to boost their business confidence.

In response to the unstable overseas supply of the leather industry, Jinan Customs and Zibo Customs have conducted on-site office many times to understand the actual difficulties of the enterprise, and arranged special personnel to be responsible for the construction application, speeding up the approval process and shortening the approval time.

It is understood that a bonded warehouse is a warehouse established with the approval of the customs to store bonded goods and other goods that have not gone through customs formalities. For the goods in the bonded warehouse, during the storage period stipulated by the customs, the enterprise can temporarily postpone the payment of import tax, and be exempted from obtaining the import license or other import approval documents, which greatly reduces the pressure on the enterprise's capital turnover. "After the enterprise's bonded warehouse is approved, it can reserve raw materials in advance according to market fluctuations and the company's production plan. There is no need to pay customs duties, value-added tax and other taxes when the raw hides are put into the warehouse. It can release 20 million yuan of funds for the enterprise every year."
