According to the customs data, from July to October 2022, Pakistan's footwear exports increased significantly, with the total export volume increasing by 82% and the export volume increasing by 31%.

According to the customs data, the total export of leather products in Pakistan in the first four months of this fiscal year was 212.5 million US dollars, an increase of only 2.7% compared with the same period last year.

In the same period, Pakistan exported 4.5 million square meters of finished leather, with an export volume of US $59.8 million. According to the customs data, they decreased by 7.5% and 3.2% respectively compared with the same period last year.

However, Pakistan exported 9.68 million pairs of shoes, realizing an export income of 62.5 million US dollars, 82.3% and 31.1% respectively compared with the same period of the previous fiscal year. Among them, leather shoes accounted for about 82% of the total footwear exports. According to customs data, its export volume and export volume were 3.5 million pairs of shoes and 51.2 million US dollars, up 53.6% and 31.6% year on year respectively.

In addition, canvas shoes and other footwear products also increased significantly. According to customs data, the export of canvas footwear products in the same period was 48000 pairs, with an export volume of 293000 US dollars, an increase of 392.3% and 414.2% respectively. The export of other footwear increased by 102.8% and 26.1% year on year respectively.
