Customs data: In the first quarter, the import and export of integrated circuits decreased by 22.9% and 13.5% respectively. According to customs data released by the General Administration of Customs on April 13th, from January to March this year, China imported a total of 108.19 billion integrated circuits, with a total import amount of 538.24 billion yuan; Customs data shows a decrease of 22.9% and 21.0% respectively compared to the same period last year. Customs data shows that at the same time, the cumulative export of integrated circuits is 60.91 billion, with a total export amount of 217.27 billion yuan; Compared to the same period last year, it decreased by 13.5% and 11.3% respectively.
Analysts believe that against the backdrop of a global economic slowdown and increased restrictions on semiconductor technology exports from the United States to China, China's chip imports continue to decrease. Meanwhile, chip prices have further declined this year due to oversupply and continued sluggish demand.
It is worth noting that customs data shows that the import and export scale of chips in March has rebounded compared to the previous two months.
