According to a survey conducted by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products on participating enterprises in this year's Canton Fair, 36.8% of the surveyed enterprises expect their export volume to increase year-on-year in the first half of this year, and the proportion of enterprises that hold growth expectations for the annual export volume will expand to 42.5%.

Actively exploring new markets

According to a survey conducted by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products, the expectations of mechanical and electrical enterprises participating in this year's Canton Fair for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) national and regional markets are significantly better than those in the European and American markets. Over 80% of enterprises are expected to maintain or increase their exports to the RCEP market throughout the year.

In recent days, reporters have seen many buyers from India, Southeast Asia, South America, and other places at the current Canton Fair. Several international trade companies interviewed stated that they are actively expanding more channels, investing in emerging markets, and embracing cross-border e-commerce.

Private enterprises focus on cultivating independent brands

Private enterprises are increasingly paying attention to the cultivation of independent brands, grasping the two main themes of "focus" and "innovation", and enhancing the competitiveness of the international trade market.

Many leading enterprises in the fields of household appliances, new energy vehicles, and photovoltaics are constantly delving into the international market and cultivating their brand's international influence. Research shows that the proportion of enterprises with production capacity transferred overseas is on the rise, and investment directions are mostly in regions with relative cost market advantages such as Southeast Asia and South America.
