New forces in international trade! China CITIC Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CITIC") plans to acquire and develop a solar energy project of more than 600MW in Rio Grande do Norte state in Northeast Brazil.

New forces in international trade! The local government announced last Friday (June 16) that the investment required for the renewable energy plan is about 2.5 billion reais (US $5193.2 million/473.57 million euros).

New forces in international trade! The construction is expected to start in November this year, which can create 400-500 jobs in this area. This solar power station is CITIC's first investment in Northeast Brazil.
