A few days ago, the National Energy Administration released national power industry statistics from January to April. As of the end of April, the country’s installed power generation capacity was 2.23 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 9.5%. Among them, wind power installed capacity was 290 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 34.6%; solar power installed capacity was 260 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 24.3%.
From January to April, the nationwide new grid-connected photovoltaic installed capacity was 7.08 million kilowatts, an increase of 2.53 million kilowatts year-on-year. From January to April, the nationwide new grid-connected wind power installed capacity was 6.6 million kilowatts, an increase of 3.05 million kilowatts year-on-year. From January to April, the nation’s power generation equipment accumulated an average of 1,214 hours of utilization, an increase of 107 hours over the same period last year. Among them, nuclear power has 2450 hours, an increase of 220 hours over the same period last year; wind power has 823 hours, an increase of 76 hours over the same period last year. From January to April, the power supply projects of major power generation companies in the country completed an investment of 111.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%. Among them, hydropower was 30.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 40.3%; wind power was 46.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.0%; solar power generation was 9.5 billion yuan. A year-on-year increase of 31.9%. The power grid project completed investment of 85.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.2%.
