According to BloombergNEF research, Vietnam currently ranks seventh in the world in terms of solar power generation. In 2020, the number of solar panels installed in Vietnam is second only to the United States and China.

The article emphasized that Vietnam has released an important signal that the global efforts to curb the use of fossil fuels and promote access to clean energy are achieving good results.
Bloomberg said that in fact, when power shortages threatened economic growth a few years ago, the Vietnamese government has turned to solar energy development to solve the energy crisis. The strong economic growth over the years has meant that the power demand for the factories of large groups such as Samsung Electronics and Apple's suppliers has soared.
The article believes that more developing countries need to switch to clean energy in order to achieve the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by the middle of this century.
