Pieces of "Made in Anhui" electromechanical and high-tech products are shipped to all parts of the world by land, sea and air transportation. Hefei Customs released the import and export data of Anhui in the first five months on the 18th. Statistics show that in recent years, Anhui has accelerated the cultivation of new industries and new formats, and promoted the strategy of driving innovation in foreign trade. The technical content and added value of foreign trade products have developed from low-end to high-end.

Anhui Chery Holding Group Co., Ltd. is the representative of Anhui enterprises "going out". Up to now, Chery Automobile has 1.8 million overseas car owners, ranking first in exports of Chinese brand passenger cars for 18 consecutive years. In the first five months of this year, Chery Group exported a total of 94,916 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 154.5%. The annual export is expected to exceed 200,000.

Lianbao Technology is the first company in Hefei with annual sales revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan (RMB, the same below). Its notebook computers and other products account for one-eighth of the global output, and it has been the champion of Anhui foreign trade export for many years. According to Qian Li, Director of Public Affairs of Linkage Technology, Linkage Technology has shown double-digit growth in its operating indicators through continuous innovation in the supply chain, business, production and other fields. In the first five months of this year, Lianbao Technology shipped 16.57 million units/sets, a year-on-year increase of 45%, and products were exported to 126 countries and regions.

According to statistics from Hefei Customs, in the first five months of this year, the total import and export value of Anhui Province was 261.58 billion yuan, an increase of 31.6% over the same period last year. Among them, exports were 149.95 billion yuan, an increase of 34.4%; imports were 111.63 billion yuan, an increase of 28.1%.

Among Anhui's foreign trade exports, electromechanical and high-tech products account for "half of the country." In the first five months of this year, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Anhui was 94.39 billion yuan, an increase of 43.7%. Among them, exports of automobiles and LCD panels were 5.5 billion yuan and 5.38 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 1.3 times and 2.7 times respectively. The export of high-tech products was 43.22 billion yuan, an increase of 41%.

In addition, Anhui's imports and exports to countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” were 66.55 billion yuan, an increase of 44.3%, accounting for 25.4%; the total value of imports and exports to the other 14 RCEP member states was 69.96 billion yuan, an increase of 16.8%, accounting for 26.7%.

According to the relevant person in charge of Hefei Customs, in the future, Anhui will also need to accelerate the optimization and upgrading of leading industries such as electronic information, automobiles, home appliances, and photovoltaics; promote the layout of integrated circuits, new energy, new materials, biomedicine and other industries, and continue to improve such as the shortage of chips. At the same time, we will speed up the development of new foreign trade formats such as cross-border e-commerce, market procurement, and foreign trade integrated service platforms.
