From the perspective of trade methods, Xi'an's general trade and bonded logistics import and export have shown rapid growth. Xi'an's general trade import and export amounted to 39.57 billion yuan, an increase of 46.1%, accounting for 23.9% of the city's total import and export value, accounting for an increase of 4.3 percentage points compared with the same period last year. The import and export of processing trade was 87.17 billion yuan, an increase of 6.2%. The import and export of bonded logistics was 21.65 billion yuan, an increase of 47.3%. Imported equipment in special customs supervision areas was 16.1 billion yuan, an increase of 15.8%, and it achieved positive growth for the first time during the year, accounting for 9.7%.

From the perspective of trade partners, Xi’an’s imports and exports to South Korea were 39.74 billion yuan, an increase of 10.8%, accounting for 24%; to the EU, 18.51 billion yuan, an increase of 29.4%; and ASEAN’s 14.4 billion yuan, a decrease of 3.2%, a decrease from the previous four months. The import and export of foreign-invested enterprises in Xi'an was 105.57 billion yuan, an increase of 7.6%, an increase of 6.8 percentage points over the previous four months, accounting for 63.8% of the city's total import and export value. The import and export of private enterprises was 50.17 billion yuan, an increase of 49.4%, accounting for 30.3%; the import and export of state-owned enterprises was 9.22 billion yuan, an increase of 42.5%, accounting for 5.6%.

Among the export commodities, the export of mechanical and electrical products accounted for more than 90%, and the export of solar cells and automobiles increased significantly. The export of mechanical and electrical products was 75.16 billion yuan, an increase of 23.9%, accounting for 93.1% of the city’s total export value. Among them, solar cells were 7.48 billion yuan, an increase of 117.3%. Auto exports were 1.77 billion yuan, an increase of 113.8%.

Among imported goods, imports of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, copper ore, and edible oil increased significantly. The import of mechanical and electrical products was 62.44 billion yuan, an increase of 9.1%, accounting for 73.7% of the city's total import value. Among them, semiconductor manufacturing equipment was 12.9 billion yuan, an increase of 78.9%, an increase of 32.7 percentage points over the previous four months. Imports of major commodities kept increasing, with 21,000 tons of copper ore, an increase of 83.8 times; and 47,000 tons of edible oil, an increase of 15.8 times.
