SA: Samsung will account for nearly half of the mobile phone memory chip market in Q1 2021

The latest research report of Strategy Analytics shows that in the first quarter of 2021, the global smartphone memory chip market total sales reached 11.4 billion U.S. dollars, compared with 9.4 billion U.S. dollars in the same period last year, an increase of 21% year-on-year.

Among them, Samsung leads the smart phone memory chip market with a 49% share, and SK Hynix and Micron rank second and third. And Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron account for more than 80% of the global smartphone memory chip market.

It is understood that Samsung Electronics is the world's largest manufacturer of memory chips, and no one can shake its market share in the two major areas of DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) and NAND flash memory. Its mobile phone memory core sales reached 55.86 in the first quarter of this year. One hundred million U.S. dollars.
