The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the economic performance of my country's communications industry in the first half of this year. Data shows that in the first half of the year, the growth rate of my country's telecom business revenue increased month by month, with a total of 753.3 billion yuan, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year, and an increase of 2.2 percentage points from the first quarter. The total telecommunications business calculated at the constant price of the previous year was 804.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.3%, and the growth rate was 0.9 percentage points higher than that in the first quarter.

From the perspective of the development of telecommunications users, the scale of mobile phone users has remained stable, and the number of 5G users has expanded rapidly. As of the end of June, the total number of mobile phone users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 1.614 billion, a net increase of 19.85 million from the end of the previous year. Among them, the number of 5G mobile phone terminal connections reached 365 million, a net increase of 166 million from the end of the previous year.
