The charging adapter standard led by NARI passed the IEC unanimously

2021-09-08

Recently, the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) TS 62196-7 electric vehicle conductive charging vehicle adapter international standard initiated by NARI Group was unanimously approved in the IEC SC 23H project voting, and related experts of NARI Group served as the convener. The successful establishment of this standard signifies that the ChaoJi charging technology proposed by my country has entered a new stage of international standard formulation and global industrial application, which is a milestone in the development of electric vehicles.

ChaoJi is "Super" Chinese Pinyin, which means faster, safer and more compatible. The new generation of ChaoJi charging technology for electric vehicles led by NARI Group is a complete set of DC charging system solutions for electric vehicles. It originated from the high-power charging requirements of electric vehicles and solved a series of defects and problems existing in existing international charging systems. , It has been upgraded in terms of charging safety, charging power, structural design, forward compatibility and future-oriented applications. It is understood that this project standard is an important part of ChaoJi charging technology, which stipulates the general requirements, ratings, safety protection, mechanical performance, etc. of the vehicle adapter. The adapter will be compatible with international mainstream vehicle interface charging, which will become the ChaoJi charging interface. The global unified charging interface has laid the foundation. This is also another result of the international standardization of electric vehicle charging facilities in my country.

In the next step, NARI Group will actively create an industrial ecological environment for ChaoJi charging technology in accordance with the requirements of the State Grid Corporation of China’s "White Paper on ChaoJi Conductive Charging Technology for Electric Vehicles", and unite with domestic and foreign automobile manufacturers to jointly promote the upgrading of charging technology and the internationalization of standards. Through international cooperation, NARI Group will comprehensively promote ChaoJi charging technology into international standards, and accelerate ChaoJi charging technology to become a universal standard with global compatibility.
