On the 12th, on the sea 30 kilometers away from the coastline of Haiyang, Shandong, as the 5 wind turbines of the 10th loop of the Shandong Peninsula South 4 offshore wind power project began to operate, Shandong’s first offshore wind farm was successfully connected to the grid for power generation, achieving a “zero breakthrough in offshore wind power” ".
It is understood that the Shandong Peninsula South 4 offshore wind power project is the first batch of offshore wind power demonstration projects in Shandong Province, with a total installed capacity of 301.6 MW. The wind farm is supporting the construction of a 220kV sea booster station and one onshore centralized control center. The wind turbines in the wind farm and between the wind turbines and the sea booster station are connected by laying 35kV submarine cables. The total length of the submarine cable Up to 90 kilometers.
According to the relevant person in charge of State Grid Shandong Electric Power, by the end of December, 58 wind turbines of Shandong Peninsula South 4 offshore wind power will be connected to the grid with full capacity, which will promote the transformation and upgrading of Shandong’s energy structure and accelerate the realization of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality." The goal is positive.
