In terms of China Telecom, computing power network is one of the key research directions. As early as 2019, China Telecom Research Institute began to conduct research on computing power network. At present, China Telecom will further improve the "2+4+31+X+O" cloud and big data center layout.


In terms of China Unicom, in October 2019, the top-level architecture standard of computing power network jointly promoted by China Telecom and Huawei, and the integration of computing and network is positioned as the "cloud network integration 1.0" (cloud network synergy). According to Ericsson's forecast, in 2025, global mobile data traffic will increase five times compared with the previous period, of which 45% of the traffic will be carried by 5G networks.
