During the construction period, the project department of China Energy Construction Group adhered to the principle of "advanced planning, process control, and one-time excellence", focusing on the goal of building an advanced, clean, efficient, and environmentally friendly world-class power plant, and successively overcome "labor shortages, logistics delays, and prices." "Ten Difficulties", such as "rising", have successively achieved a series of milestone node goals.

During the start-up of the entire unit of Unit 1, the project department made a unified plan, established an organizational structure, made safety technical disclosures to personnel at all levels in advance, and strictly tested and confirmed each system in strict accordance with the requirements of various standards before grid connection. During the commissioning period, the personnel of the project department were on duty 24 hours a day, earnestly implemented the technical requirements and safety guarantee measures, and carried out a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the equipment to ensure the successful completion of the first grid connection.

The project will simultaneously build flue gas desulfurization and SCR denitration devices, and the emissions will be better than the EU standards and gas turbine standards. The power plant is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in November 2022, and can supply 9 billion kWh of electricity to Turkey every year.
