On August 2, Trina Solar Co., Ltd., located in the new energy technology industry base of Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, successfully rolled off the production line of the first large-size module in Inner Mongolia, marking the successful commissioning of Trina Solar's solar module project in Inner Mongolia. The upstream and downstream industry chain of photovoltaics in Inner Mongolia has realized the close connection between products and the terminal market, filling the blank of the whole photovoltaic industry chain in the autonomous region in the module manufacturing end.

Since the beginning of this year, Ordos City has paid close attention to the investment promotion and project construction of the entire industrial chain of "wind, light, hydrogen, storage, and vehicles", and has successively introduced a number of leading enterprises such as Trina Solar, CRRC, Envision, LONGi, and GCL. Formed 425,000 tons of silicon material, 64GW of crystal pulling slices, 28.5GW of photovoltaic modules, 480 million square meters of photovoltaic glass, 1,030 sets of electrolyzers, 30,000 sets of hydrogen fuel cells, 330,000 tons of positive and negative materials, 12.5GW of energy storage cells, etc. A large number of proposed new energy industrial clusters are under construction, with a total investment of more than 80 billion yuan.
