According to import and export data released by the South Korean Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Resources on the 1st, South Korea's exports shrank for the eighth consecutive month in May, with a deficit lasting for 15 months. The data also shows that South Korea's exports to China, the United States, ASEAN, the European Union, Latin America, and the Middle East have all declined.

According to import and export data released by the South Korean Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Resources on the 1st, South Korea's exports shrank for the eighth consecutive month in May, with a deficit lasting for 15 months.

Import and export data shows that South Korea's export volume in May decreased by 15.2% compared to the same period last year, to $52.24 billion. The import volume decreased by 14% compared to the same period last year, to $54.34 billion, and there was a deficit of $2.1 billion in trade balance.

Import and export data shows that South Korea's exports to China, the United States, ASEAN, the European Union, Latin America, and the Middle East have all declined. The chip with the largest export value in a single category in South Korea has shown weak performance, continuing to drag down overall exports. Import and export data shows that chip exports decreased by 36.2% year-on-year in May, marking the 10th consecutive month of negative growth.
