According to the customs data, in terms of the total import and export volume, in the first five months, the total import volume of China's integrated circuit products was 131.9 billion US dollars, down 24.2% year-on-year, and the total export volume was 52.57 billion US dollars, down 17.2% year-on-year.
At present, although the prosperity of the semiconductor industry continues to be weak and the global economic headwind exacerbates the market downturn, the Chinese chip market seems to be performing well.
According to customs data, in April this year, the global sales of semiconductor chips was $40billion, down 21.6% year-on-year and up 0.3% month on month.
From the perspective of sales performance in various regions, chip sales in other markets in Europe, the Americas and the Asia Pacific all recorded month on month declines of 0.6%, 1.0% and 1.1% respectively, except for the 2.9% month on month growth in China and 0.9% month on month growth in Japan.
