Recently, Canalys released a report saying that due to the accelerated migration of workloads to the cloud and the accelerated development of cloud-native applications, the global cloud infrastructure service expenditure in the second quarter of 2021 increased by 36% to 47 billion US dollars.
It is understood that Canalys' latest data shows that expenditures in the second quarter increased by more than 5 billion U.S. dollars over the previous quarter, and more than 12 billion U.S. dollars more than in the second quarter of 2020.
Among them, the three major cloud service providers accounted for 61% of total expenditures in the second quarter of 2021.
Amazon Cloud Technology is the leading cloud service provider in the second quarter of 2021, with an annual growth rate of 37%, accounting for 31% of total expenditures.
Microsoft Azure was the second largest cloud service provider in the second quarter, with 22% market share, an increase of 51%.
Google Cloud grew by 66% in the second quarter and had an 8% market share.
