According to the report data released by market research organization Canalys, the total PC shipments in the Chinese mainland market reached 19.4 million units in the second quarter of 2021, a year-on-year decrease of 3%, but a month-on-month increase of 13%.

Canalys pointed out that compared to the first quarter, shipments of desktops, notebooks and tablets have all achieved growth. Shipments of desktop and mobile workstations increased by 77% from last year to 270,000 units; shipments of standard desktop computers recovered to 5 million units; shipments of notebook computers remained flat, increasing only 1.4% to 8.6 million units. However, tablet shipments in the second quarter of 2021 plunged 24% year-on-year.

In the second quarter of 2021, the top five manufacturers of PC shipments in the Chinese mainland market are Lenovo, Dell, HP, Asus, and Huawei. Among them, Huawei's shipments plummeted by 64% year-on-year and ranked fifth.
In the tablet PC market, the top five manufacturers of tablet PC shipments in the mainland China market in the second quarter of 2021 are: Apple, Huawei, Samsung, Lenovo, and Honor.
