The domestic sales of smart phones have further declined, and the total number of smart cameras has shrunk accordingly. According to the monthly data of cinno research, the total number of cameras in the domestic smart phone market in April 2022 was reduced to 65million, a year-on-year decrease of about 27% and a month on month decrease of about 14.5%.

In terms of the proportion of smart camera brands, in April 2022, the top five smart camera brands accounted for 15%-19%, of which oppo accounted for about 19%, ranking first; Vivo accounts for about 18%, ranking second; Glory accounts for about 17%, ranking third. In terms of the average number of smart camera, there is structural differentiation among models in different price segments in China. Of which:

Under the background of rising costs, the number of cameras in the low-end smart phone market is not the primary factor in product competition.

·In April, 2022, each mobile phone in the domestic high-end smartphone terminal shipping market was equipped with an average of about 3.45 cameras, a decrease of about 0.59 compared with April, 2021. Affected by Apple's high proportion of shipments in the high-end smartphone market and the conservative number of Apple cameras, the average number of high-end smartphone cameras is lower than the average number of mid-range smartphones.

·In April, 2022, the average number of cameras in the domestic ultra-high end intelligent terminal shipping market was about 4.23, an increase of about 0.43 compared with April, 2021. After July 2021, the average number of ultra-high-end smart camera in China has maintained an upward trend and gradually stabilized.

At present, the domestic end consumer market is depressed, the innovation of intelligent machines is not strong and the sales volume is weak. With the cost of spare parts occupied, the middle and low-end models have an obvious trend of pursuing high cost performance in camera configuration. At the same time, the overall high-end efforts of the Android camp are insufficient, and the number of cameras carried is limited. According to the data forecast of cinno research, the total carrying capacity of cameras in China's smartphone market will be reduced to about 1.1 billion in 2022, a year-on-year decrease of 13.2%.
