The U.S. government on Tuesday placed five Chinese companies on a trade blacklist for allegedly supporting Russia's military and defense industrial base. This move is to demonstrate the determination and strength of the United States to implement sanctions against Russia.

According to reports, the U.S. Department of Commerce claimed that the above-mentioned companies had supplied projects to Russia’s “entities of interest” before February 24, and “continued to perform supply contracts with Russian-sanctioned entities” after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Among the 5 Chinese companies that were blocked, except Hong Kong World Jetta Logistics Limited, the remaining four - Sinno Electronics Co., Ltd., Jinpai Technology (Hong Kong) ) Co., Ltd. (King Pai Technology Co., Ltd), Winninc Electronic Co., Ltd. (Winninc Electronic) and Connec Electronic Co., Ltd. (Connec Electronic) are electronic components traders.

It is reported that the inclusion of companies on the trade blacklist means that U.S. suppliers need to obtain permission from the U.S. Department of Commerce before exporting products to these companies.

In response, the Chinese embassy in the United States said in a response to the Global Times-Global Network on the 29th that China will take necessary measures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of its domestic enterprises.
