Supporting marketable export products to expand the domestic market can effectively solve the problem of unsalable products of some enterprises and help foreign trade enterprises overcome difficulties. At the same time, the products of some enterprises are limited by specific categories, and the demand for the international market cannot be changed. It is still urgent to help more domestic enterprises solve the problems of foreign trade difficulties and few orders. Relying on cross-border e-commerce channels to help enterprises open up international trade markets and obtain international orders is the most effective way to quickly help Chinese enterprises expand the international market and stabilize their foreign trade advantages under the epidemic situation. The China International E-commerce Industry Expo (CIEIE) emerged at the historic moment, broadening the channels for serving Chinese enterprises to enter the international trade market under the epidemic.

On the basis of the traditional exhibition service mode and taking advantage of the special attributes of the trade promotion system, the CCPIT Commercial Industry Branch innovatively launched different service concepts and modes such as "the promotion of trade to the sea", "the promotion of trade optimization" and "the promotion of trade excellence".

First, "Trade Promotion to the Sea" leads enterprises to carry out trade cooperation.

Service enterprises need to be fully escorted to the international trade market. In 2022, the Commercial Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) simultaneously carried out nearly 20 cross-border e-commerce promotion industry development activities. Through holding training and forums such as the development forum of new foreign trade formats, the RCEP interpretation and application symposium, domestic enterprises were served to understand the international trends of different industries, obtain effective international information, and build a full ecological chain of cross-border e-commerce formats; By organizing the "RCEP expert database of the trade promotion system" to provide real case guidance for enterprises, help enterprises and relevant units learn and grasp the rules of RCEP, seize the development opportunities of RCEP, and share the policy dividend of the free trade zone; Initiate the "Asian e-commerce to the global" initiative, discuss the excellent experience of e-commerce with Asian countries, share the latest achievements of e-commerce, promote the efficient growth of e-commerce in Asia, and promote the construction of a global community of shared destiny; Actively participate in the formulation of international rules, promote the construction of a more equitable and reasonable international economic order, and have led the development of a number of international standards, covering the sharing economy, e-commerce, live marketing and other fields. We have taken multiple measures to provide solid services for enterprises in the industrial belt and provide confidence for enterprises to expand their development under the epidemic.

At the same time, in order to expand the types and quantity of service objects and build a broad and high-quality international economic and trade exchange platform, the Commercial Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will focus on building the China International E-commerce Industry Expo platform. In 2020 and 2022, hundreds of production and cross-border e-commerce related ecological enterprises participated in the exhibition, attracting more than 50000 professional visitors. The CIEIE Nanjing Exhibition, which will be held at the Nanjing International Expo Center in late March this year, covers an area of 30000 square meters, with more than 400 exhibitors, and is expected to attract 30000 professional visitors. The Indonesia station of CIEIE's first overseas exhibition will also attract more than 200 exhibitors.

Since the second half of 2022, all parts of the country have actively supported foreign trade enterprises to go to sea in groups, unblocked the channels for foreign trade enterprises to seize orders, and more Chinese enterprises have taken the opportunity to seize opportunities and seek business opportunities. In the post-epidemic era, it is also the service direction of the Commercial Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade to efficiently help export-oriented enterprises across the country adapt to the complex and volatile international economic and trade environment, seize overseas business opportunities, cope with economic and trade risks and challenges, expand international order resources, and promote the flow of multiple and bilateral goods more quickly by using the way of integrating general goods trade with cross-border e-commerce.

The global economic and trade situation this year is still grim, and foreign demand may weaken further. In this context, the state called for the resumption of physical exhibitions. It is our advantage to take advantage of international resources, make good use of new business forms such as cross-border e-commerce, and lead small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises to go abroad.

Next, the Commercial Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will organize domestic high-quality enterprises to carry out market development activities overseas in batches. Through organizing one-to-one precise business negotiation and supply and purchase docking, targeted research and investigation, participating in high-quality international exhibitions and forum training and other forms, enterprises can understand the demand of overseas markets on the spot. Through our preliminary investigation, we found that the demand for Chinese products in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia is still hot. Considering population advantages, logistics costs and other factors, Chinese enterprises have natural advantages in trade with Southeast Asian countries. Therefore, the first station of the group of "Trade Promotion Sailing to the Sea" is set in Southeast Asian countries. At the same time, the group of the Middle East and Europe is also under planning. China Commodities (Mumbai, India) Exhibition and other overseas self-run exhibition projects also started and recovered rapidly.

The author believes that leading enterprises to go abroad, investigate the market on the spot, and communicate and negotiate with international partners face to face is the first step to carry out international trade cooperation.

Second, "trade promotion optimization" improves the foreign trade performance of enterprises under the epidemic situation.

The "Key Points for the Promotion of Trade in 2023" of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) pointed out that we should "innovate and improve quality" and actively promote the innovation of the concept, system and mechanism, technical means, service mode and carrier platform of the promotion of international trade. In fact, in the process of "promoting trade to sea" for service enterprises, we found that enterprises have an urgent need to go to sea, and they urgently need to obtain information and trade opportunities. The CCPIT Commercial Industry Branch has accumulated a large number of international procurement resources, relying on the advantages of international resources brought by the long-term domestic and foreign self-hosted exhibition and the China International E-commerce Industry Expo.

Therefore, under the support of "channels+resources", during the epidemic, we developed the "trade promotion and optimization" service mode based on the exhibition platform, that is, accurately match domestic high-quality foreign trade enterprises (suppliers) according to the acquired effective purchaser demand, and provide one-to-one negotiation space for both parties through online and offline integration mode. In this way, while reducing the communication cost of enterprises in expanding the market, it can effectively help precise procurement and achieve high-quality business negotiation.

According to statistics, in the past three years, through the "online+offline" mode, we have held more than ten "trade promotion and optimization" activities, focusing on the targeted services of enterprises in multiple industrial clusters such as Shenzhen, Changzhou, Suqian, Qinhuangdao, Jingdezhen, etc., and the number of buyers and suppliers directly participating in the "trade promotion and optimization" has accumulated to more than 1000, which has met the requirements of the weaving service enterprise network. "Optimal matching for the promotion of trade" has become one of the measures taken by the Commercial Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of Trade to normalize the service of enterprises to go to sea.

Third, "trade promotion products" create a long-term mechanism for enterprises to go to sea.

Whether it is traditional foreign trade or new channel and new mode of cross-border e-commerce, how to promote domestic high-quality brands to take root in the international market and improve the overall quality of China's foreign trade products and its international competitiveness remains an important issue for a long time in the future. With the rapid recovery of overseas markets, many enterprises have significantly increased their demand for long-term display opportunities and long-term trade clues.

Next, the Commercial Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will focus on making use of the existing platforms to create a "global product boutique exhibition hall" and "global boutique China debut" at various overseas activities, highlight the international image of high-quality products and enrich brand exposure opportunities.

At the same time, we will work together with the CCPIT and CCPIT Commercial Industry Branch's overseas representative offices and overseas business association resources to achieve quality upgrading, focus on creating a long-term "trade promotion excellent products" plan, and extend the service time of traditional exhibitions. We will work with relevant institutions across the country to organize high-quality industrial belt enterprises and brand enterprises such as "China Haoli" to expand targeted markets in a large-scale and planned way. By setting up "365 days overseas exhibition hall+cross-border e-commerce overseas warehouse" and other models, we will make the docking between enterprises and the international market more direct, in-depth and effective, and provide a stable trade docking platform for enterprises to obtain long-term market opportunities.

In 2023, the Commercial Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will continue to innovate, work together with all parties to further improve the quality of service, upgrade the level of service, give full play to the functions of connecting government and enterprises, internal and external, and smooth supply and demand, make good use of the international circle of friends, build a long-term and stable economic and trade exchange platform for enterprises, cultivate an international market environment that meets the needs of domestic enterprises, and make efforts for China's high-level opening-up and trade facilitation.
