In recent days, 15 foreign trade enterprises in Quxian Economic Development Zone, Sichuan Province have pressed the "accelerator button" of busy production and catching up with foreign trade orders to meet the demand of the international market and strive to achieve a "good start" in the first quarter.

In the production workshop of Quxian Tianlu Clothing Co., Ltd. located in Quxian Economic Development Zone, workers are busy producing foreign trade orders. The company's waistcoats, jackets, and sports suits are all sold to the markets of Europe, America, South Africa, and Japan and South Korea.

Wen Fenggao, Production Manager of Quxian Tianlu Clothing Co., Ltd., said, "We are currently working on this foreign trade order with a total of 1 million pieces, valued at $6 million. Currently, the workshop is arranging employees to work overtime to catch up with production according to the planned schedule, and must complete and deliver it to overseas customers within the specified time."

Quxian Tianlu Clothing Co., Ltd. is a foreign-trade enterprise specializing in the production of outdoor sports apparel. With the support of policies, enterprises have overcome the adverse effects of the economic downturn and actively expanded overseas markets.

Wen Fenggao, production manager of Quxian Tianlu Clothing Co., Ltd., told the author that the company currently has sufficient foreign trade orders, and the production plan has been scheduled for September this year. The production and sales of the enterprise are booming, and it is expected that the output value this year will increase by 50% compared to 2022.

Since this year, relying on the advantages of the traditional textile and clothing industry, Quxian Economic Development Zone has actively organized foreign trade enterprises to "go out" and "invite in" overseas customers. The implementation of a series of trade promotion measures has greatly increased the channels and confidence of foreign trade enterprises in expanding the market and receiving orders. In the first two months of this year, the import and export volume of the park reached 31 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%.

Feng Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Quxian Economic Development Zone, said that since this year, Quxian Economic Development Zone has firmly implemented the strategy of strengthening the county through industry, taken multiple measures to help enterprises rescue, wholeheartedly and comprehensively served enterprises, stabilized inventory, expanded growth, and focused on polishing the brand of the national foreign trade transformation and upgrading base. Foreign trade exports have shown a stable and positive trend.
