Costa Rica is the world's second largest exporter of pineapples and bananas, and it is also the largest raw material supplier for American coffee giant Starbucks. Starbucks' largest coffee producer is in Costa Rica. Costa Rica, located in Central America, is China's first diplomatic country in this position. There are many legends, and I would like to have a chance to visit. In November 2019, the opportunity came. With the approval of relevant parties, the delegation of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament came to this remote and beautiful country at the invitation of the Peace Foundation established by former President Arias. Although this visit was very brief, with a glimmer of light and a quick look at the flowers, it also filled my knowledge gap. Costa Rica is an economically developed country with the third largest GDP in the world. Costa Rica is also one of the largest economies in the Americas. According to customs data, by the end of 2019, Costa Rica's total trade volume had reached 3.4 trillion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%; The total export volume is 1.8 trillion pesos, the total import volume is 22.6 million pesos, the net export amount is 68 million US dollars, and the net export volume is 1.73 million tons.
