Sichuan International Trade Achieves Paperless Export Tax Refund Full Process! On March 29th, the electronic management cloud platform for Sichuan export tax refund (exemption) filing documents was officially launched in the "single window" of Sichuan international trade. As a public service platform for storing and managing export tax refund (exemption) filing documents, this platform can achieve electronic management of export tax refund (exemption) filing documents and cloud based storage of international trade "single window" features, effectively reducing enterprise costs and improving the work efficiency of foreign trade enterprises.

This new function is completed through cross departmental collaboration between the Provincial Aviation and Electronic Port Service Center and the Provincial Taxation Bureau. The "Single Window" of Sichuan International Trade is a public welfare and convenient customs clearance service platform for foreign trade enterprises in the province, and also an important support for the construction of the Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone. At present, the platform has achieved connectivity and information sharing with 30 departmental systems, achieving "one point access, one submission, one inspection, one click tracking, and one click processing". Since its launch in September 2017, the province has accumulated a declared export tax refund amount of 5.355 billion yuan through this platform. In 2022, the overall clearance time for international trade imports and exports in the province was reduced by 59.66% and 82.83% respectively compared to 2017.

From 'paper' to 'electronic', the entire process of enterprise tax refund declaration, warehouse return processing, and document filing has been digitized. "The relevant person in charge of the Goods and Services Tax Department of the Provincial Taxation Bureau introduced that after the implementation of electronic management of export tax refund (exemption) filing documents, foreign trade enterprises no longer need to store tax refund (exemption) filing documents on paper. During the trial operation of the platform, 119 enterprises from Chengdu, Mianyang, Yibin, Deyang and other places have taken the lead in conducting the trial.
