On May 10, the construction of Wuhu International Trade Innovation Industrial Park Project (Phase I) was started, adding a new platform for the development of open economy.

Wuhu International Trade Innovation Industrial Park is one of the top ten innovation parks in the city, with a total land area of approximately 202 acres and a total investment of approximately 1.52 billion yuan. The first phase covers an area of 73 acres, with an investment of approximately 600 million yuan, to construct two four story standard factories, one two story bonded warehouse, and the International Trade Center building.

This project focuses on the industrial field of "bonded trade+cross-border e-commerce+service trade", constructing a "3 bases and 1 platform" industrial functional system to meet the operational and development needs of cross-border e-commerce, bonded display of imported goods, bonded testing and maintenance, bonded R&D services, bonded remanufacturing, bonded financing leasing, bonded delivery of goods, bonded goods storage, and other "bonded+" new business formats and international trade enterprises.

Wuhu International Trade Innovation Industrial Park is the first new industrial land (M0) project in the city, which will conduct beneficial exploration to promote the conservation and intensive use of land resources. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will focus on introducing export-oriented economic enterprises and leading enterprises, expanding the "bonded+" new business format, creating new growth points for foreign trade, promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional foreign trade, cultivating new driving forces for international trade development, and empowering and increasing efficiency for the high-level opening up and high-quality development of Wuhu City.
