Successfully signed 10 import procurement projects and 5 cooperation projects, with a total contract amount of 2.18 billion yuan... On May 16th, at the key event held on the first day of the opening of the Third China Central and Eastern European Countries Expo - the Central and Eastern European Commodity Procurement Conference and Agricultural Products Dialogue, the first signing event of this Expo was quite eye-catching. Signing one after another, shaking hands again and again, smiling faces after another, purchase orders and cooperation projects not only cover agricultural products such as meat, dairy products, vegetable oil, but also consumer goods and bulk commodities such as skiing equipment and health products, fully demonstrating the strong momentum of international trade and economic cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

Sign a large procurement order to deepen bilateral cooperation

At the meeting, we signed an order of 100 million RMB with Hungarian Hussigat Company for the beef procurement project. The company will also design packaging specifically for the international trade import products, hoping to make more Chinese consumers understand and like Hungarian beef. As a member of the first signing event, Sun Chonglong, Executive Chairman of Ningbo Federal Changyun International Trade Co., Ltd., excitedly told reporters that in addition to purchasing beef, Ningbo Federal Changyun will also purchase products from Central and Eastern Europe, such as Polish milk and Hungarian wine, to further enrich people's dining tables.

On the first day of this expo, Zhongji Trading (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. also achieved some success. At the conference, the company signed a $20 million sunflower seed meal order with Bulgarian sunflower seed oil company. Sunflower seed meal is a substance obtained by pre pressing or direct extraction of sunflower seeds to extract oil. It is a high-quality plant protein feed material. Bulgaria is the second largest producer of sunflower seeds in the European Union, and the quality of local sunflower seed meal is very high. "Su Bin, assistant general manager of Zhongji Trading (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., told reporters.

It is understood that Zhongji Trading is participating in the China Central and Eastern Europe Expo for the first time. Su Bin admitted to reporters that participating in this year's expo, the company hopes to meet more suppliers, fully obtain their procurement information, and gain a deeper understanding of the actual supply and demand of products, deeply tap into consumption potential, so that the high-quality agricultural and food products purchased from Central and Eastern Europe can not only demonstrate advantages, but also meet the needs of the domestic market, achieving win-win cooperation.

In the future, the company hopes to further develop products such as beet meal and sugar from Serbia, and expand the entry of meat products such as beef and cow by-products into the Chinese market. We also hope to further communicate with exhibitors about the admission, supply, logistics and other issues of related products to China through this exhibition, "said Su Bin.

Promoting the Development of International Trade and Expanding Confidence in the Chinese Market

Not only do many buyers hope to discover more good Central and Eastern European products at the China Central and Eastern European Expo, but China's continuously open market also attracts exhibitors from Central and Eastern European countries.

Weike Group was established in 1992, feeling the booming pulse of China's consumer upgrading and the potential of China's super large market. In 2012, Weike Liquor Industry was established in China to introduce Hungarian wine to China. In the view of Sun Jinsong, the general manager of Wink China, the China Central and Eastern Europe Expo provides huge business opportunities for the company to expand into the Chinese market, which is also its third participation in the expo.

It is understood that the exhibits brought by Wake Company this time include Tokay's precious rot wine and Egel bull blood products. Hungary is a representative country of Old World wine, and in recent years, Hungarian wine has become increasingly popular and sought after by consumers in China, even gaining a group of 'super fans'. Sun Jinsong said that on the first day of the exhibition, the company received hundreds of domestic and foreign buyers and consumers, and everyone was very enthusiastic about the company's products. In the future, we hope to further open up the Chinese market, so that high-quality products from Central and Eastern Europe can be understood and accepted by more consumers, and more orders can be obtained. Like Wake Company, the reporter learned in the interview that many exhibitors have expressed their hope to further expand the Chinese market, establish agents in China, and expand the influence of their products in the Chinese market.

Currently, the product categories of China's imports from Central and Eastern European countries are relatively concentrated, mainly including feed, grain and its products, dairy products, alcohol, meat and its products, sugar, cocoa, and chocolate. However, there have been some new changes recently, that is, more and more products have been granted access, including fresh fruits, pet food, honey and other products, which are gradually gaining access and can be exported to China In the view of Yu Lu, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for International Trade in Food, Soil and Livestock, the import of agricultural products from Central and Eastern Europe needs to accelerate and continuously enhance the influence of its own brand in China.

Specifically, firstly, strong policy support should be given to further enhance the competitiveness of food and agricultural products from Central and Eastern Europe in the Chinese market. For example, the establishment of bilateral or regional free trade agreements can be explored to make the prices of agricultural products from Central and Eastern Europe more advantageous. At the same time, more distinctive food and agricultural products available for export from Central and Eastern European countries should be further explored. For products with access requirements, it is recommended to promote accelerated access arrangements 。 Secondly, platforms such as enterprises, third parties, and business associations should work together to promote the 'imported' products to quickly, accurately, and stably open up the Chinese market. At the same time, import and distribution enterprises should also vigorously promote the 'imported' products to help them increase their market share in the Chinese market Yu Lu told reporters.
