China Customs has become the first "Certified Operator" (AEO) mutual recognition partner of Uzbekistan Customs.

Uzbekistan is a friendly and close neighbor of China, a country jointly building the "the Belt and Road" and a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. China and Ukraine are important partners in cooperation with each other. In 2022, the total trade value between China and Ukraine was 65.13 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.2%. After the implementation of the Mutual Recognition Arrangement, AEO enterprises in both countries will enjoy lower inspection rates for imported goods, priority inspections for goods that require physical inspection, establishment of enterprise coordinators, and priority customs clearance after international trade interruption and resumption. This will help AEO enterprises greatly reduce customs clearance time, significantly reduce trade costs such as warehousing and logistics, and further enhance the level of trade facilitation between the two countries, Create a good environment for promoting high-level opening up and jointly building high-quality development of the "the Belt and Road".

The AEO system is organized and advocated by the World Customs Administration, aiming to provide customs clearance convenience for enterprises with high levels of compliance, credit status, and security through customs certification. This mutual recognition arrangement is the fourth AEO mutual recognition agreement signed by the General Administration of Customs this year. So far, China has signed AEO mutual recognition agreements with 52 countries (regions) in 26 economies, including Singapore, South Korea and the European Union. Among them, the number of countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" has increased to 35. The number of mutual recognition agreements signed and the number of countries (regions) mutually recognized rank first in the world.
