According to statistics released by the General Administration of Customs recently, customs data shows that in the first four months of this year, China's imports and exports with the five Central Asian countries reached 173.05 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.3%. According to customs data, the monthly import and export scale in April exceeded 50 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 50.27 billion yuan, reaching a new level.

Specifically, in terms of imports, customs data shows that in the first four months, China imported 32.45 billion yuan of energy products such as natural gas from the five Central Asian countries, accounting for 55% of the total import value of China from the five Central Asian countries during the same period. In terms of exports, customs data shows that in the first four months, exports of mechanical and electrical products, as well as labor-intensive products such as textiles and clothing, shoes and boots, accounted for a relatively large proportion.

According to data from Chongqing Customs, in the first four months of this year, Chongqing exported 4119 vehicles with a value of 490 million yuan to the five Central Asian countries, which were 17.8 times and 39.6 times higher than the same period last year, respectively.

On May 18, a special freight train bound for Central Asia was loaded at Chongqing Yuzui Freight Station. After 256 vehicles were loaded, it left the country via Khorgos Port and was transported to Kazakhstan. In recent years, domestic cars have become popular in Central Asian countries and orders have gradually increased.
