On May 28th, the opening ceremony of the 2023 Zhongguancun International Technology Trading Conference and the special event on industrial innovation cooperation between China and Asia and BRICS countries were held at the Zhongguancun Software Park International Conference Center. The conference follows the "one country+one industry" model, focusing on scientific and technological innovation in key countries, with the aim of strengthening exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries in the field of science and technology, promoting cross-border technology transfer and achievement transformation.

At the opening ceremony, the 2023 "List of 100 International Technology Trading Innovation Projects" (hereinafter referred to as the "List") was released. The "List" focuses on 10 key areas of the year and has collected over 3800 technical projects from 40 countries and regions worldwide, with international projects accounting for 70% of the total. The "List" is oriented towards participating in "international technology transactions", with "innovative technology" as the core, and supports all cooperative and tradable modes, such as technical services, technical consulting, joint research and development, patent transfer, cooperative production, and international trade market development of innovative technology products.

Sun Jian, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, stated in his speech that China has been adhering to reform and opening up for more than 40 years, and has always been at the forefront of technological openness. At present, China has established scientific and technological cooperation relationships with more than 160 countries around the world, signed 116 intergovernmental scientific and technological cooperation agreements, and joined more than 200 international organizations and multilateral mechanisms, building a new pattern of comprehensive, multi-level, and wide-ranging scientific and technological open cooperation.

Zhu Jianhong, a member of the Party Group, Deputy Director, and First Level Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Management Committee, stated that Beijing has 28200 national high-tech enterprises and 102 unicorn enterprises, which are important platforms and innovative resources for China's scientific and technological innovation. The technology innovation centers, incubators, and technology parks in Beijing provide a superior innovation and entrepreneurship environment for domestic and foreign enterprises and innovation teams, helping international enterprises accelerate incubation and development. In March last year, Beijing issued regulations on supporting the establishment and development of foreign-funded research and development centers, encouraging foreign investment and the establishment of research and development centers to serve foreign development in Beijing and promote more open, inclusive, mutually beneficial, and shared international scientific and technological cooperation.

Yang Zhihui, Director of the Asia Africa Innovation Cooperation Center, CEO of the China Asia Africa Silk Road Group, and Chief Representative of the China Africa Trade Association in China, stated that the Asia Africa Silk Road International Business Center has been closely cooperating with African countries since its establishment, such as signing a cooperation agreement with the Congo New Hope Foundation; We are jointly building the West African Expo City with Ghana, and upon completion, it may become the largest international expo city in West Africa; Cooperate with Gambia to establish a bonded logistics center and also promote the establishment of an international trade and commercial bank. The center hopes to start with international trade and economy, and promote more scientific and technological cooperation between Asia and Africa.

Kishore Kumar, Vice Chairman of the India China Technology Transfer Center and the India China Trade Center, stated that in the field of new energy, wind energy and hydropower are emerging fields in India. Charging stations, battery recycling, and battery manufacturing also contain business opportunities in India. India's huge demand for new energy vehicles provides a foundation for Chinese companies to enter the Indian market. In the field of biotechnology, India is one of the countries with the highest exports of formula drugs in global international trade. Therefore, importing raw materials from China, processing them in India, and exporting them to various parts of the world also brings opportunities for cooperation between the two countries. In the field of the internet, India is also seeking to explore the Chinese market and looks forward to developing business in China through cooperation. In the field of infrastructure construction, China has mature development experience in infrastructure construction such as subways, airports, and highways. We welcome international trade project cooperation with India to promote India's infrastructure construction and regional development.

The head of the Science and Technology Department of the Brazilian Embassy in China, Tibao, stated that the 7th remote sensing satellite within the framework of the China Brazil Earth Resources Satellite project will be jointly developed. This satellite will achieve technological improvements and provide data even in challenging environments in the Amazon region, which plays an important role in supporting sustainable development.
